We are currently seeking a highly experienced Sr. QAQC Engineer Civil (Interiors & Fit-Outs) to strengthen our quality team and ensure superior finishing standards across our projects.
Role Description:
To manage and oversee all QA/QC activities related to civil finishing, interior works, and fit-out activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements for interior and fit-out works.
- Conduct inspections for civil finishing activities including drywall, false ceilings, flooring, tiling, marble, joinery, painting, waterproofing, and faade interfaces.
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure quality compliance.
- Review material submittals, shop drawings, and technical submissions for approval.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project specifications.
- Raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct internal audits and support third-party inspections when required.
- Monitor mock-ups and sample approvals prior to execution.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and documentation as per ISO standards.
- Ensure snagging and de-snagging activities are completed before handover.
- Support project handover documentation and final quality certification.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 812 years of experience in QA/QC within civil construction, with strong exposure to interiors and fit-out projects.
- UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of finishing standards and high-end residential/commercial projects.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
