Responsibilities
- Understand functional/non-functional requirements and participate in client calls to clarify requirements.
- Analyze requirements and create impact analysis documents for understanding existing functionality changes.
- Utilize NoSQL databases with a focus on Mark Logic, including data ingestion and harmonization.
- Develop solutions using XML, XPath, XQuery, and XSLT for content management and bulk transformations.
- Build, deploy, and manage MarkLogic projects using ML Gradle, ensuring efficient CI/CD automation and environment configuration.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions, focusing on unit testing and best practices.
- Good knowledge of MLCP, CORB tools, and Mark Logic REST APIs.
- Work with TDE (Template Driven Extraction) views to enable metadata enrichment.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and data-quality issues across MarkLogic environments.
- Provide documentation, knowledge-sharing, and best practice guidance for MarkLogic development.
Requirements - Must Have
- 4-7 years of experience in NoSQL databases, with strong knowledge in Mark Logic and XML-based languages (XPath, XQuery, XSLT).
- Experience with Mark Logic Data Hub Framework, MLCP, CORB tools, and REST APIs.
- Strong technical experience in unit testing, code versioning, and following best practices.
- Experience working in an Agile environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good To Have
- Experience working with MarkLogic 9 or later versions, including practical use of TDE views.
- Understanding of insurance domain and advanced search capabilities.
- Exposure to architectural design and performance tuning for MarkLogic clusters.
