Key Functional Responsibilities
Solution Design & Configuration:
- Configure and maintain SAP TM functionalities (planning, freight order management, carrier selection, freight settlement).
- Configure SAP MM processes (procurement, inventory management, purchase orders, goods movements).
Integration & Solution Design:
- Ensure seamless integration between TM, MM, SD, and EWM modules.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to align transportation and material processes with business goals.
Backlog Management:
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for SAP TM and MM in alignment with business goals.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and ensure tasks are ready for development.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact and feasibility.
Project Management & Implementation:
- Lead rollouts, upgrades, and enhancements of SAP TM and MM solutions.
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, document functional specifications, and align with key stakeholders.
- Work closely with developers to manage technical customizations, integrations, and testing phases.
System Optimization:
- Analyze transportation and procurement performance and propose improvements for cost efficiency and lead time reduction.
- Drive automation and best practices for freight planning and material management.
Development & Agile Practices:
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and business teams to ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Test and validate TM and MM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and product roadmap.
- Lead training sessions and create documentation to ensure end-users and carriers can use the TM and MM systems effectively.
Testing & Validation:
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and execute user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and users to enhance the solution continuously.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that solutions comply with internal policies, industry standards, and security protocols.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all configurations, customizations, and processes for future reference and audit purposes.
Documentation & Training:
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and collaborating on complex SAP ERP implementations, from initial needs analysis to flawless go-live and beyond. Particularly in SCM modules.
- 5 to 8+ years of experience with SAP TM and MM configuration, implementation, and support.
- Master's degree is preferred but equal experience would also be considered.
Experience
- Strong knowledge of logistics, freight management, and carrier collaboration.
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA and integration with related modules (e.g., MM, SD, EWM, FI/CO).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Experience working with ABAP developers for customizations and technical integrations.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications
- SAP Certified Application Associate – Transportation Management in SAP S/4HANA.
- SAP MM certification
