Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SRE Consultant specializing in AppDynamics to implement, optimize, and drive the adoption of our Application Performance Monitoring (APM) practice. Deep hands-on expertise with AppDynamics, and a proven ability to analyze complex application performance issues, deliver effective solutions, and consult with engineering teams.
Role and Responsibilities:
The SRE Consultant will be responsible for the expert implementation, configuration, and continuous optimization of the AppDynamics platform, acting as a technical subject matter expert (SME) to engineering and operations teams.
- AppDynamics Implementation & Optimization.
- Performance Analysis & Incident Resolution.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for high-priority performance incidents, utilizing deep transaction, infrastructure, and code-level analysis within AppDynamics to perform swift Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Provide definitive and actionable recommendations to development and SRE teams to resolve complex performance bottlenecks.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to development, operations, and product teams, assisting them in leveraging AppDynamics for proactive performance management and design review.
- Develop and deliver hands-on training and documentation on AppDynamics best practices to upskill internal engineering teams.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in IT Operations, Application Development, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
