Overview

We're looking for a full-time Staffing Manager to lead our global staffing operations within the support function. At CAA Portas, we believe our success is built on the strength and balance of our teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring projects are effectively resourced, employee utilisation is optimised, and individual development aligns with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Manage global staffing across client-facing and internal projects, ensuring optimal resource allocation
• Act as the central point of contact for staffing decisions, collaborating with project leads and development teams
• Monitor employee utilization and time-off to maintain alignment with project timelines and company policies
• Maintain and update staffing data, lead weekly meetings, and communicate allocation decisions
• Continuously improve staffing workflows, identifying automation opportunities and balancing business needs with employee growth
• Build and maintain dashboards to track utilization, availability, and project assignments
• Analyze staffing data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and support strategic workforce planning
• Provide insights for performance appraisals, including project exposure and client feedback
• Recommend stretch assignments and leadership opportunities for high-performing employees
• Align staffing decisions with career development plans and contribute to workforce planning by identifying skill gaps and proposing hiring or training solutions

Requirements:

• Experience in operations, resourcing, or staffing, ideally within consulting or professional services
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage complex processes under pressure
• Strong communicator, confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
• Collaborative team player with sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Proactive and solutions-focused, always seeking process improvements
• Comfortable working across time zones within a global team
