Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified
English Teacher to join our dynamic school community in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality English language and literature instruction, foster a love of reading and writing, and support students academic and personal development in a multicultural learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum and standards.
- Teach English language skills, literature, reading comprehension, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including EAL/ESL students.
- Assess, record, and report on students progress using formative and summative assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to support improvement and achievement.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into lessons.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental meetings, and school events.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and well-being.
- Support students social, emotional, and academic growth in line with school policies.
- Comply with KHDA regulations, school policies, and safeguarding procedures.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (international experience preferred).
- Experience teaching a recognized curriculum (British, IB, American, CBSE, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
- Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
