It is not a corporate initiative or commercial media platform. FoundersKSA operates as a grassroots project built to support the ecosystem by sharing real experiences, lessons, and perspectives from founders.
The goal is simple: create a useful knowledge base for students, early-stage founders, and startup teams — helping them better understand how companies are actually built in the Saudi market.
Role Description
This is a part-time, fully remote, volunteer role for a Startup Research & Content Associate.
You will work on researching startup trends, analyzing founder journeys, and contributing to content creation and strategy. The role involves writing and editing articles, brainstorming content ideas, and supporting the development of high-quality founder-focused content.
As an early-stage initiative, the role is flexible and evolving — focused on research, experimentation, and idea generation rather than rigid execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on startups, founders, and market trends in Saudi Arabia
- Analyze and structure founder journeys into clear, engaging narratives
- Contribute to writing, editing, and refining articles
- Support content strategy and brainstorming new content ideas
- Maintain quality and consistency across published content
- Collaborate on creative projects supporting the startup ecosystem
Qualifications
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft engaging content
- Solid research and analytical skills to synthesize insights and trends
- Understanding of content strategy and storytelling
- Ability to work independently and contribute ideas in a flexible environment
- Interest in startups and the Saudi entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus
- Bachelor's degree (or current enrollment) in Business, Journalism, Communications, Economics, or related field is preferred
Role Type & Commitment
- Part-time (approx. 5–10 hours per week)
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule, with light coordination when needed
Compensation
- This is a fully volunteer (unpaid) role
- FoundersKSA is a community-driven project with no commercial or revenue intent at this stage
- The role is designed for learning, contribution, and ecosystem involvement — not financial compensation
