Position Overview
We are seeking a Steel Structures Engineer to join our team in Egypt. The role involves supporting the structural design and analysis of building and infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on steel structure design. The successful candidate will work closely with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and code-compliant
Responsibilities
- Prepare structural design and analysis for steel structures and building projects.
- Develop structural calculations, reports, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with architectural, mechanical, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Apply international and regional codes and standards in structural design.
- Support design development, detailed design, and IFC stages.
- Review technical submissions and respond to design-related queries.
- Assist in coordination with regional teams and projects across the Middle East.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in steel structure design, including projects in KSA and UAE.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction standards including AISC, ASCE, EN, SBC, DBC, and IBC.
- Proficiency in structural design and analysis software such as STAAD, SAP, and ETABS.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy environment.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience on regional Middle East projects.
- Familiarity with BIM-based coordination environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet project deadlines.
