Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sterilization Technician based in Doha, Qatar. The primary responsibilities of the role include facilitating the decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment to meet high standards of infection control. The technician will adhere to strict protocols to ensure safe and proper handling of medical tools, assist with operating room supply management, and utilize medical terminology accurately in communication and documentation. They will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Decontamination and Sterilization processes
• Strong knowledge and application of Infection Control practices
• Familiarity with Operating Room procedures
• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology
• Relevant certifications and/or experience in sterilization techniques or a related field
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in high-pressure environments
• Commitment to patient safety, including compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
