About the Job

As a Stewarding Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and hygiene standards in all food processing facilities, as well as the operating equipment.

• Supervise the sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene, as well as the quality level of products and services.
• Ensure that all stewarding employees follow safety instructions whilst cleaning machinery.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned.
• Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure proper receiving upon return.
• Set and clear food buffet and coffee break setup on time without any disturbance to the guests.
• Follow proper procedure on recyclables, non-recyclables, food, hazards, and general waste disposal.
• Ensure safe and correct usage of cleaning chemicals using PPE, PIS, and MSDS.
• Ensure that water and electricity consumption and usage are controlled in your workplace.
• Maintains inventory of all cleaning materials and reports any loss, breakage, and damage of machines used in the stewarding daily operation.
• Follow Daily Cleaning schedules and monitoring checklist as per HACCP standard.
• Assure you that the emergency exits are always in a clean condition and free of any obstacles, and the exit door is easy to open from inside.
