Stock Controller

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Stock Controller role based in Cairo. The Stock Controller will manage and monitor stock levels, ensure proper inventory operations, and maintain accurate records of stock movement. Responsibilities include stock control, inventory audits, quality checks, and implementing efficient stock management practices. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to align stock availability with company needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control within hypermarkets or food retail chains.
• Strong knowledge of food products handling and expiry date monitoring.
• Experience with inventory management systems and good command of MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and reporting abilities.
• Relevant bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor stock movement (receiving, issuing, returns).
• Conduct periodic and surprise stock counts.
• Reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Analyze discrepancies and minimize stock loss.
• Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
