Job Description

Job Purpose:To support warehouse operations by ensuring accurate inventory records through physical stock verification, system validation, discrepancy analysis, and coordination with internal teams and customers. The Stock Controller plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting customer satisfaction through proper stock control practices.Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities Inventory Verification & Physical Counts Perform physical stock counts and compare actual quantities with system records. Identify and report stock discrepancies between physical inventory and system data. Conduct full, partial, and random (cycle) counts as per the approved schedule. Verify secondary data during counts (Batch No., Production Date, Expiry Date, Status, SKU). Reviewing received shipments and matching the actual shipment with the recipient by the warehouse team. Review of OUTBOUND shipments.System Review & Stock Adjustments Review inventory data on the system and validate stock accuracy. Prepare discrepancy analysis by calculating differences between physical stock and system balance. Support stock adjustment requests (Adjust IN/ Adjust OUT) after verification and approval. Update corrected data on the system after proper authorization.Location Control & Storage Validation Verify empty locations listed on the system through physical inspection (Zero Location Report). Identify locations occupied incorrectly (wrong customer / wrong SKU / mixed storage). Report misallocated or mixed storage locations to warehouse management. Support storage optimization and correct placement of customer stock.Reports & Inventory Analysis Prepare stock control reports for full counts, zone counts, and random audits. Ensure stock reports include: Customer stock Empty locations within customer zones Locations occupied by other customers stock Prepare IRA (Inventory Reliability Audit) reports as agreed with customers. Issue tracking reports for discrepancies on a weekly basis.Discrepancy Investigation & Resolution Support Assist in investigating stock discrepancies by reviewing the latest transactions and movements. Coordinate with operations team leaders to trace errors related to receiving, picking, or storage. Support resolution of Not Found items by coordinating with warehouse operations.

Documentation & Operational Support Maintain organized records for stock counts, adjustments, and reports. Print pallet IDs, location labels, and related warehouse identification documents. Coordinate with internal departments to highlight warehouse errors and improvement areas. Follow company policies related to inventory control and data accuracy

Authority of incumbent: Authorized to perform stock counts and system checks. Authorized to report discrepancies and prepare adjustment requests. Not authorized to approve stock adjustments or release inventory.Job Specifications: Education: University degree or relevant diploma. Experience: 12 years in stock control, warehouse operations, or logistics. Languages: Good command of English & Arabic (written and spoken). IT Skills: MS Excel, Warehouse/ ERP systems (preferred)Technical Competencies:1. Inventory counting techniques2. System validation & reconciliation3. Basic discrepancy analysis4. Warehouse documentation handling
