Role Purpose
Lead the flagship MUJI store to achieve sales, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence objectives while developing a high-performing team and delivering the MUJI brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profitability by achieving store KPIs, sales targets, and cost control measures.
- Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a large retail team to deliver exceptional performance and customer service.
- Create an outstanding customer experience aligned with MUJI brand values and standards.
- Analyze commercial reports and implement action plans to improve sales, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensure excellent visual merchandising, store presentation, and compliance with brand guidelines.
- Manage stock availability, replenishment, inventory control, and loss prevention initiatives.
- Oversee workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet business needs.
- Identify talent within the team and implement succession planning and development initiatives.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, health & safety, and operational standards.
- Build a positive store culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Store Manager is mandatory, preferably within a flagship or high-volume retail environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Experience managing large teams and developing future retail leaders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for customer service and retail excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail reporting systems.
