Job Description

To manage and oversee the daily operations of the showroom, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, high customer satisfaction, and efficient coordination between sales teams, technical teams, and the workshop. The role requires strong experience in wallpaper, carpets, and workshop operations (tailoring and upholstery) to ensure quality execution, accurate scheduling, and smooth delivery of customer projects.

Responsibilities

Store Operations
  • Manage the daily operations of the showroom and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
  • Monitor inventory related to wallpaper, carpets, and workshop materials.
  • Maintain showroom presentation standards and product displays.
Team & Workshop Management
  • Lead and supervise:
  • Sales team
  • Wallpaper and carpet teams
  • Workshop staff (tailoring and upholstery)
  • Prepare staff schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.
  • Oversee workshop production and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide regular feedback.
Sales & Customer Management
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Welcome customers and understand their dcor and furnishing needs.
  • Coordinate customer appointments (measurement, production, installation).
  • Follow up on orders from confirmation to final delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure full satisfaction.
Coordination & Execution
  • Coordinate between sales, measurement teams, workshop, and installation teams.
  • Ensure timely execution of orders and adherence to agreed schedules.
  • Supervise ongoing projects and ensure work meets customer expectations.
Reporting & Improvement
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, operations, and workshop output.
  • Recommend operational and commercial improvements to management.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in:
  • Wallpaper
  • Carpets
  • Furnishings
  • Previous experience with companies operating in home dcor and furnishings.
  • Proven experience in:
  • Team leadership and staff management
  • Customer coordination, scheduling, and follow-up
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
