Whizz HR is hiring an experienced Store Manager for a leading company in the Paints & Retail industry.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of a paint retail store.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in retail sales, inventory management, customer handling, billing, and team supervision. Candidates with experience in paints, hardware, building materials, or related retail industries will be preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the paint retail store

• Drive retail sales and achieve monthly store targets

• Handle walk-in customers and understand their paint and product requirements

• Provide product information and recommend suitable paint products and solutions

• Manage inventory, stock levels, inward/outward movement, and stock reconciliation

• Ensure accurate billing, cash handling, and daily sales reporting

• Supervise store staff, including attendance, work allocation, and performance

• Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, painters, and dealers

• Handle customer queries, complaints, and after-sales requirements

• Ensure proper product display, cleanliness, organization, and overall store upkeep

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment

• Prevent stock loss, damages, and inventory discrepancies

• Prepare daily and weekly sales and inventory reports for management

• Ensure compliance with company store policies and operational procedures

REQUIREMENTS

2–4 years of experience in Store Management / Retail Sales

Experience in Paints, Hardware, Building Materials, or related retail is preferred

Good knowledge of inventory and store operations

Strong customer-handling and communication skills

Ability to manage a small team and achieve sales targets

Knowledge of paint products and applications will be an advantage

Basic computer knowledge

Familiarity with billing, POS, or inventory management software

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
