Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records for all materials, consumables, and spare parts using the approved inventory or ERP system.
- Conduct daily stock transactions, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Apply FIFO / FEFO principles where applicable.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excesses, and discrepancies proactively.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability for all inventory movements.
Inbound Logistics Operations
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, specifications, batch numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Coordinate unloading, inspection, and secure storage of materials in designated locations.
- Identify, segregate, and report damaged, short, or non‑conforming materials.
- Ensure all received materials are recorded accurately and promptly in the system.
Outbound Logistics Operations
- Prepare materials for issuance to production or dispatch in accordance with approved material requests.
- Conduct accurate picking, packing, labelling, and documentation for outbound materials.
- Ensure timely and secure transfer of materials to internal or external stakeholders.
- Maintain records of issued, returned, and consumed materials.
Warehouse Operations
- Organize and maintain warehouse layout to ensure efficient space utilization, safe material flow, and security.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions are maintained for sensitive security printing materials.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with 5S standards.
- Operate approved material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys, where authorized.
Material Handling
- Perform physical handling, lifting, and movement of materials weighing up to 25 Kgs in a safe and controlled manner.
- Follow ergonomic and safety guidelines to prevent injuries and material damage.
- Support loading and unloading operations as required.
Security & Compliance
- Strictly adhere to all security controls, access restrictions, and confidentiality requirements related to security printing materials.
- Ensure materials are stored, handled, and issued only to authorized personnel.
- Support internal, external, and regulatory audits.
- Immediately report any security breaches, discrepancies, or incidents.
- Compliance with SICPA internal rules and policies as well as with local regulations concerning security, safety, transport, or any other regulations related to the function.
- Optimization of costs.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Comply with company HSE policies, UAE labour law requirements, and workplace safety standards.
- Always use prescribed personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents promptly.
SECTION III: Education, Skills, Behavioral & Accountability
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma preferred)
- Diploma or vocational training in logistics, warehouse management, or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably security printing, paper, packaging, or other security‑sensitive industries, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (SAP) is an advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Understanding of inbound and outbound logistics processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically fit to handle materials weighing up to 25 Kgs.
- Computer skills, including MS Excel and inventory systems.
- Ability to follow strict procedures and security protocols.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
