Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining the required stock of aircraft spares, tools and test equipment to support the smooth operation for the Aircraft maintenance departments. Ensure proper storage, binning, issuing, shelf-life control, stock checking, stock transferring, system updating and timely re-provisioning of stock.
Responsibilities
- Maintains the warehouse, records area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Control inventory and ensure material demands are issued to the proper section.
- Comply with company system and procedures for material handling.
- Ensure and comply safety, health and environmental procedures.
- Issuing old receiving material and keep in store the dues in (first in receive, first out deliver)
- Issue materials against approved pick list and update the system after checking for correctness of part numbers and quantity.
- Carry out routine activities in the Stores, such as binning, stock transferring, stock adjustment and maintain a record of each transaction in the system.
- Monitor and control the calibration life of test equipment & tools and check shelf life of rotable and consumable items to ensure maximum usage before expiry.
- Maintain good housekeeping with respect to storage conditions and subtle handling of hazardous material and flammable materials.
- Participate in the annual inventory and assist in verification of discrepancies.
- Prepare shipping documents and dispatch Critical/AOG items when dispatch inspectors are not on duty.
- Response time and quality of service provided
- Compliance to work standards and safety operations of material logistics department
Skills
- Minimum of High School Diploma
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Aviation (Preferred)
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Strong verbal and written Communication skills
- Strong knowledge in the interpretation and implementation of policies & procedures
- Strong organizational commitment
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong drive to grow capabilities
