Overview

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Storekeeper to support efficient warehouse and inventory operations. The role is responsible for receiving, storing, issuing and tracking materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting stock replenishment, and ensuring all warehouse activities comply with established HSE and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day receiving, storage, issuing and movement of materials within the warehouse.
  • Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery documentation, ensuring quantity, quality and specifications are correct.
  • Maintain accurate and timely inventory records within the inventory management system.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory against system records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and support timely replenishment and appropriate reorder levels.
  • Help identify and minimise obsolete, redundant and slow-moving inventory.
  • Coordinate the delivery and movement of materials between warehouses and operational sites.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate inventory, ageing and stock-related reports.
  • Ensure materials are appropriately labelled, organised and stored to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) standards and warehouse procedures.
  • Identify and report inventory, operational and safety risks within the area of responsibility.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or above
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Finance or relevant field (advantageous)

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role

Knowledge

  • Automated inventory control procedures, forecasting techniques, data analysis, purchasing procedures, record keeping practices as well as receiving, shipping and storage practices
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is advantageous (e.g. Oracle or SAP)
  • Track record of inventory control forecasting techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Competency

  • MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint – Intermediate level
  • Distribution and warehouse knowledge
