Role Overview
The STRATA Registration / Authorities Engineer will be responsible for managing regulatory approvals, STRATA registration processes, and authority liaison activities to ensure compliance with UAE laws and standards. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate effectively with government authorities, municipalities, and regulatory bodies to secure timely approvals for civil, infrastructure, and luxury residential projects.
Key Responsibilities
Authority Liaison & Approvals
- Coordinate with government authorities, municipalities, and regulatory agencies for project approvals.
- Prepare and submit technical documentation required for authority clearances.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and authorities regarding compliance matters.
STRATA Registration Management
- Manage STRATA registration processes in compliance with UAE property laws.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission for registration approvals.
- Provide guidance to project teams on STRATA requirements and procedures.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to UAE building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Maintain transparency and accuracy in all authority-related documentation.
- Establish reporting frameworks to track approval timelines and compliance status.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with project managers, consultants, and legal teams to resolve regulatory issues.
- Build strong relationships with authorities to facilitate smooth approval processes.
- Support clients in understanding regulatory requirements and compliance obligations.
Job Requirements
- Proven track record in authority liaison and STRATA registration within contracting, construction, or infrastructure organizations.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks, building codes, and approval processes.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple authority submissions simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline; professional certifications preferred.
