LHH Middle East is partnering with a multinational organization to appoint its next Account Manager to handle its Water Treatment Chemicals portfolioin Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the water treatment chemicals sector in Saudi Arabia.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at strategic client accounts.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, understanding client needs and positioning our solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with technical and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services, and to address client challenges proactively.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to clients on water treatment solutions, market trends, and regulatory requirements in Saudi Arabia.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
- Manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and reporting for assigned accounts.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales or account management within the water treatment chemicals industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic accounts and achieving sales targets.
- Strong technical knowledge of water treatment processes, chemicals, and applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, business culture, and regulatory environment.
