Creative Presentation Specialist & Strategic ThinkerEvents, Festivals & Live Experiences
The RoleReporting to the Creative Pitch Specialist within the Mega Events Department, Alsayegh is looking for an exceptional Creative Presentation Specialist and Strategic Thinker to join our Events & Live Experiences team.
This is not simply a PowerPoint design role, although you must be an expert in PowerPoint design.
We are looking for someone who understands events — someone who can take a brief, an idea or sometimes just a blank page and transform it into a powerful, visually compelling, and strategically structured event presentation.
Our team develops and delivers some of the region's largest events, festivals, ceremonies and live experiences. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, strategists, creatives, designers and project teams to develop presentations that help win pitches, sell ideas and bring ambitious experiences to life.
AI has transformed how we research, ideate, visualize and produce presentations. We expect the successful candidate to be highly comfortable using AI-powered creative and productivity tools to work faster and explore ideas more effectively. However, AI does not replace the core skills we are looking for: creative thinking, storytelling, strategic thinking, visual judgment and a genuine understanding of events.
What You Will Do- Develop high-impact PowerPoint and Keynote presentations for events, festivals, pitches and major live experiences.
- Turn briefs and initial concepts into clear, engaging creative narratives and presentation structures.
- Develop presentation storylines that explain the big idea, visitor journey, experience, programming, content and creative vision.
- Work with management, strategy, creative and project teams to translate complex ideas into presentations that are simple, persuasive and visually exciting.
- Conduct research into events, festivals, destinations, culture, entertainment, technology, audience behaviour and global trends.
- Contribute ideas and strategic thinking rather than simply waiting for content to be supplied.
- Source, create and curate strong visual references, mood boards and inspiration.
- Use AI tools intelligently for research, ideation, visualization, image generation, copy development and presentation workflows.
- Collaborate with designers, 3D artists, animators and video teams to develop presentation assets.
- Support the development of festival programming, public spaces, activations and visitor experiences.
- Help conceptualize and develop promotional films, animations, mood films and other pitch content.
- Continuously explore new presentation techniques, technologies and creative tools.
- Attend events and festivals where required to understand the projects we create and support teams on site.
What We Are Looking ForA minimum of 3 years of professional experience specifically creating presentations for the events, festivals, exhibitions, experiential or live entertainment industry is mandatory.
General corporate PowerPoint experience alone is not sufficient for this role.
You should also have:
- An outstanding portfolio demonstrating event and festival presentations you have personally worked on.
- Advanced PowerPoint and/or Keynote skills.
- Strong visual design instincts and an excellent eye for imagery, typography, composition and presentation flow.
- The ability to think strategically and creatively, not simply format slides.
- A strong understanding of how event concepts are developed and communicated.
- Experience creating pitch decks, creative proposals, event concepts and/or festival presentations.
- Strong research and storytelling skills.
- Confidence using modern AI creative tools as part of your everyday workflow.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant creative tools.
- The ability to work quickly and maintain high creative standards under demanding pitch deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work directly with senior management and multidisciplinary teams.
- A genuine interest in events, culture, entertainment, art, technology and live experiences.
Portfolio RequirementA portfolio is mandatory.
Your application must include examples of event, festival or live-experience presentations you have personally worked on.
Please clearly identify your role in each example.
Applications without relevant event-presentation examples will not be considered.
