Job Title: Strategic Transformation Director (1 Position)
About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Strategic Transformation Director to lead high-impact organisational change programs. The successful candidate will design and drive cross-functional transformation initiatives that improve operational performance, accelerate digital adoption, reorganize for scale, and align strategy with execution. This is a hands-on leadership role working with senior executives, product, engineering, operations, HR and finance to translate strategic priorities into measurable programs and sustainable capability uplift.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end transformation programs: define scope, build business cases, set KPIs, and own delivery against timeline and budget.
- Partner with executive leadership to translate corporate strategy into prioritized initiatives, roadmaps and benefits-realization plans.
- Design and implement organizational changes (operating model, governance, roles & responsibilities, performance metrics).
- Drive digital and process transformation: identify opportunities for automation, data-driven decision making and systems consolidation.
- Oversee change management, stakeholder engagement, communication plans and training to secure adoption.
- Establish PMO standards: program governance, risk mitigation, reporting cadence and quality assurance.
- Build cross-functional teams, define success criteria and ensure clear accountability for outcomes.
- Monitor program performance, conduct post-implementation reviews and ensure benefits are tracked and realized.
- Mentor and develop internal capability in program management, change management and strategic planning.
- Provide regular, concise updates and decision-ready recommendations to the executive team and board-level stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience leading large-scale transformation programs, management consulting, or senior program leadership roles.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results from complex, multi-stakeholder transformation (cost savings, productivity, revenue uplift or digital adoption).
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and the ability to frame problems and quantify impact.
- Hands-on program management skills: roadmap development, resource planning, budgeting, risk management and PMO implementation.
- Experienced in organisational design, operating model change and people-centred change management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at senior/executive levels.
- Data-fluent: comfortable using metrics and dashboards to drive decisions; familiarity with analytics and digital transformation tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication able to prepare executive briefings and present to senior leadership.
- High integrity, resilience and adaptability in ambiguity and fast-moving environments.
