Job Purpose
To support senior management in developing, monitoring, and executing corporate strategy while ensuring strong governance, performance oversight, and alignment across all business units and subsidiaries. The role coordinates strategic initiatives, evaluates business performance, and provides structured reporting and analysis to enable informed decision-making and sustainable growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
▪Support in developing and evaluating business strategies, business plans, investments, and financial scenarios to ensure sustainable growth, profitability.
▪Ensure that Company strategic initiatives and operational plansare executed effectively by monitoring KPIs.
▪Oversee budget preparation, monitor financial performance against approved plans, and recommend cost control
▪Support the preparation and development of business plans for new and ongoing projects.
▪Monitor and track the performance of subsidiaries, business units, and strategic initiatives.
▪Oversee governance compliance across all business segments, ensuring adherence to workflow structures, authority matrices.
Conduct operational reviews and governance auditsto evaluate efficiency, strengthen internal controls.
▪ Coordinate with division heads and subsidiary leadership in Kuwait, KSA, and other locations to ensure alignment on strategic projects, monitor execution progress, and ensure deliverables are achieved within agreed timelines.
▪ Act as a central coordination point for strategic initiatives, facilitating collaboration between departments such as HR, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to ensure smooth project execution.
▪ Prepare board-level summaries, structured presentations, management reports, and strategic updates to support senior leadership and the Chairman in decision-making.
▪ Review contracts, commercial agreements, and legal documents from an operational feasibility and compliance perspective, identifying potential risks and ensuring alignment with company policies.
▪ Conduct feasibility studies and financial evaluations for potential investments, acquisitions, and new business opportunities to support strategic decision-making.
▪ Develop start-up budgets for new ventures, including OPEX, CAPEX, required investments, and Break-Even Analysis (BEP) to assess financial viability.
▪ Develop financial scenarios, sensitivity analyses, and strategic forecasts based on management requirements and market conditions.
▪ Establish and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal control frameworksto strengthen governance, transparency, and financial discipline across the organization
▪ Review and evaluate business partner agreements and commercial arrangements, providing insights on financial impact, contractual risks, and strategic alignment.
Work Experience
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in strategy, corporate planning, financial analysis, or business consulting.
▪ Experience in budget preparation, financial reporting, financial modelling, sensitivity analysis, and evaluation of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow).
▪ Good understanding of corporate governance frameworks, internal controls, policies, procedures, and operational compliance requirements.
