Job Overview:
The Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role within Lifera's Strategy Unit, working closely with the Strategy Director to shape, refine and execute Lifera's corporate and vertical strategies. This role is central to defining the company's long-term vision and strategic direction, coordinating inputs for Board of Directors and PIF engagements, and translating corporate strategy into actionable initiatives across Lifera's functions and business verticals. The Strategy Manager will also help lead cross-functional teams on key strategic projects, support scenario modeling and market intelligence efforts, and ensure alignment of each vertical's balanced scorecard and KPIs with corporate priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Strategy and vision development:
- Support the Strategy Director in developing and refining Lifera's corporate strategy, long-term vision, and strategic direction for BoD and PIF review.
- Conduct horizon scanning, market and competitor intelligence, and scenario planning to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identify emerging trends, technologies, and business models shaping global biopharma and life sciences.
Strategy Execution and Translation:
- Translate corporate strategy into actionable initiatives across Lifera's functions and business verticals.
- Align cross-functional initiatives with corporate priorities.
- Define execution roadmaps in collaboration with function leaders.
Vertical Strategy Development:
- Develop mid- to long-term strategic plans for each vertical.
- Support creation of objectives, KPIs, and initiatives for balanced scorecards.
- Evaluate opportunities, partnerships, and investment priorities.
Strategic Projects and Governance:
- Lead or co-lead strategic cross-functional project teams.
- Prepare strategy updates for senior management, BoD, and PIF.
- Ensure alignment with Lifera's corporate goals and Vision 2030.
Insights, Intelligence and Scenario Modeling:
- Maintain continuous market, policy, and competitive intelligence.
- Develop models to assess growth scenarios and strategic implications.
- Produce insight papers on emerging biotech and pharma themes.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field (required).
- Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Certifications in strategy, analytics, or management (e.g., CFA, PMP) are a plus.
- 7-10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in corporate strategy, management consulting, or biopharma strategic planning..
- Proven track record in strategic planning and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience supporting C-level or Board-level engagements.
