As a Strategy and Insights Manager/Senior Manager, youâll play a pivotal role in driving strategic innovation and delivering impactful creative work for a range of clients across several industries.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Monitor cultural and social trends, and their impact on consumersâ attitudes, behaviors, and perceptions, using a variety of market and research data.
- Utilize consumer data analysis to unearth human insights that inform impactful strategies and effective creative work.
- Coach and supervise junior strategists in conducting thorough competitive audits and benchmarking exercises.
- Collaborate with research agencies to design and manage tailored research solutions based on client-specific needs.
- Briefs and Strategy Development:
- Write concise yet inspiring creative briefs that guide creative teams in delivering exceptional and groundbreaking ideas.
- Develop, craft, and present inspiring and rigorous strategies and narratives to enable brands to forge deeper connections.
- Produce award-winning case studies for effectiveness and creativity competitions, showcasing the agency's strategic prowess.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of strategies across all touchpoints.
- Cultivate strong relationships with client partners based on dependability, credibility, and empathy.
- Foster collaborative relationships with creative teams, client servicing teams, social media, digital teams, and other agency departments, promoting integrated thinking.
- Mentor and guide junior strategists to deepen their strategic acumen and deploy agencyâs methodologies effectively.
- Work closely with the Strategy Director/Head of Strategy to deliver comprehensive and insights-driven strategic plans that meet client objectives.
- Presentation and Communication Skills:
- Demonstrate exceptional presentation and storytelling skills, instigating conversations around client challenges and proposing appropriate solutions.
- Possess a keen ability to ask sharp questions that demonstrate sector knowledge and drive strategic thinking.
- Effectively field questions, comments, and feedback while communicating ideas, points of view, and strategies insightfully and sharply.
- Exhibit clear and coherent written and verbal communication skills in all interactions with clients and internal teams.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or related fields
- 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar role within an advertising agency, demonstrating a track record of strategic thinking and creative problem-solving.
- Passionate, energetic, and curious individual with a deep-seated enthusiasm for the advertising industry with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
