The Ideal Candidate shall deliver all daily S&C programs and coaching with precision, managing the gym floor environment and ensuring the highest standards of athlete technique and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and supervise all daily S&C sessions as directed by the Head Coach or Senior S&C Coach.
- Expertly coach all athletes on correct lifting technique and movement patterns to maximize performance and prevent injury.
- Manage the daily organization, cleanliness, and safety of the entire S&C facility and all of its equipment.
- Conduct all assigned warm-up, cool-down, and injury prevention exercises for all designated athlete groups.
- Meticulously track all athlete attendance and training adherence using the designated monitoring systems.
- Assist in the execution of all routine physical assessments (e.g., mobility screening, strength testing).
- Liaise directly with the physiotherapy team to monitor and appropriately guide all injured athletes who are in the gym.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all athlete training loads and physical testing results in the AMS.
- Ensure 100% compliance with all S&C policies, facility usage rules, and safety procedures at all times.
- Support the Head Coach in all administrative tasks and the detailed documentation of all programs.
- Demonstrate all exercises with perfect form and act as a role model for discipline and work ethic.
- Provide on-the-spot, constructive feedback to athletes to correct their form.
- Assist in the setup and tear-down of all testing and training equipment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Participate actively in all departmental meetings and professional development sessions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in S&C coaching, personal training, or fitness instruction.
- BSc in sports Science. Basic fitness certification is required.
