  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to investigate, reproduce, analyze, and track software defects
  • Experience with defect prioritization based on severity, impact, and business value
  • Understanding of release management and quality gate processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with development, QA, and integration teams
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, or OEM-specific frameworks)
  • Professional fluency in English (at least Upper-Intermediate)

Will be a plus

  • Knowledge of AOSP / embedded systems environments
  • Experience in integration and validation phases of complex systems
  • Understanding of ASPICE processes
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments
  • Background in cross-supplier collaboration within automotive programs
  • Experience with log analysis and debugging tools

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the defect management process across the project
  • Investigate, reproduce, document, and track software defects
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and integration teams to ensure timely defect resolution
  • Participate in defect triage sessions and support prioritization activities
  • Monitor defect status, quality metrics, and backlog health
  • Analyze defect trends and contribute to root cause analysis (RCA) activities
  • Ensure defects are properly documented with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
  • Verify fixes and support regression validation activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of defect handling and quality assurance processes
  • Support compliance with project quality gates and release criteria
  • Escalate critical quality risks and blocking issues when necessary
  • Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders regarding defect status and progress

Why this position
