The Structural (Bridge) Inspector is responsible for inspecting and monitoring all bridge and structural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. The role focuses on quality assurance, safety compliance, and proper execution of construction activities under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect bridge and structural works including piling, substructure, and superstructure activities.
• Monitor reinforcement works, formwork, concrete casting, and curing processes.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections and report any non-conformance issues.
• Verify materials delivered to site and ensure they meet approved standards.
• Witness tests related to concrete, materials, and structural elements.
• Ensure proper implementation of traffic safety and work zone safety where applicable.
• Coordinate with the contractor and site engineers to resolve minor site issues.
• Maintain records of inspections, site activities, and quality reports.
• Report progress, issues, and observations to the supervising engineer.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in bridge and structural inspection.
• Experience in major roads, bridges, and highways projects within PMC or construction supervision projects.
• Good knowledge of structural drawings and construction methods.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes (AASHTO, BS, ACI, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
