Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Structural Design Engineer role located in Abu Dhabi. The Structural Design Engineer will develop structural designs and calculations for projects using appropriate engineering standards and local building codes. Daily tasks include performing structural analysis, preparing detailed drawings and models, coordinating designs using CAD and AutoCAD, and reviewing specifications to ensure safety, durability, and cost efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with project managers, architects, and site teams to integrate structural solutions with aesthetic and functional requirements. The engineer will also support technical documentation, participate in design reviews, and provide guidance during fabrication and installation phases.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering for building and façade systems.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Civil Engineering, including familiarity with relevant codes and construction practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for detailed structural drawings and 3D modeling.
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
- Experience in building design, façade systems, or architectural stone and composites (e.g., GRC, GRP, GRG, solid surfaces) is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly.
- Familiarity with UAE building regulations and international standards is preferred.
