Role: Structural Design Engineer
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy in Dubai. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of low-rise and high-rise building projects, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to deliver high-quality structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop structural designs for reinforced concrete and steel buildings across all project stages.
- Prepare structural calculations, 3D models, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, Revit modelers, and other project stakeholders to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Ensure all designs comply with the Dubai Building Code and relevant international standards.
- Participate in design coordination meetings, technical reviews, and interdisciplinary workshops.
- Provide technical support during tender and construction phases, including responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Maximum of 7 years experience in the structural design of buildings and towers, including reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Dubai Municipality G+12 Accreditation is mandatory.
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, RAM Concept, PROKON, STAAD Pro, and Revit.
- Strong understanding of the Dubai Building Code, structural design principles, and construction methodologies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate, high-quality work within project deadlines.
