Structural Design Engineer

Job Summary:

The Structural Engineer- (Concrete) will own moderate-complexity concrete structures for power generation, Energh and infrastructure schemes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed civil engineering designs, drawings, and analysis for the civil
• Lead analysis and detailed design of reinforced and prestressed concrete elements.
• Optimize reinforcement layouts for cost, constructability, and performance.
• Review and stamp design packages, ensuring adherence to client specifications and codes.
• Contribute to bid packages by estimating quantities, assessing risks, and reviewing specs.
• Conduct targeted site inspections to verify formwork, reinforcement placement, and concrete pours.

Requirements:

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from governmental university

Experience of 3-7 years working in Design office, designing building structures in Industrial projects (Power project will be an advantage).

Familiarity with Design codes and standards such as EN/BS, ACI, SBC, ECP, IBC, ASCE.

Using software like Sap, STAAD, CAD

Experience of working on multi-discipline projects

Practical experience of reinforced concrete design and RC detailing.

Have the capability to technically lead and collaborate with teammates.

Good communication skills

Have the ability to make decisions, act on your own initiative
