Structural Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop and review structural drawings and details.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design clashes and technical issues.
• Ensure structural designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Use structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, and SAP2000.
• Prepare and review structural details using AutoCAD and preferably Revit Structure.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents when required.
• Respond to technical queries and provide appropriate engineering solutions.
• Participate in design coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all assigned design deliverables are completed accurately and within project deadlines.
• Support senior engineers and the structural design team in delivering project requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in structural design, preferably in building projects.
• Good knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design.
• Good understanding of structural analysis principles and engineering standards.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, or similar structural design software.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit Structure/BIM is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality engineering work.
