Structural Designer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable Structural Designer to support the development and preparation of structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation. The role involves translating engineering concepts and project requirements into accurate, practical, and coordinated structural solutions while maintaining design quality and compliance with relevant standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing structural drawings, layouts, details, sections, and design documentation based on engineering requirements.
• Developing and modifying structural designs in accordance with project specifications and approved design concepts.
• Reviewing architectural and engineering drawings to ensure proper coordination between structural and other disciplines.
• Producing accurate drawings and details for structural elements such as foundations, columns, beams, slabs, and other components.
• Interpreting structural calculations, sketches, specifications, and engineering instructions.
• Revising drawings and incorporating design changes, technical comments, and project requirements.
• Coordinating with structural engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, and other project teams.
• Checking drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, levels, and consistency before submission.
• Maintaining organized drawing files, revisions, technical documents, and project records.
• Supporting the preparation of structural documentation and materials for project submissions.
• Ensuring drawings follow applicable codes, standards, drafting practices, and company requirements.
• Assisting with design coordination and resolving technical or drafting-related issues when required.

• Degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of structural drafting and basic structural engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design or drafting software.
• Familiarity with structural modeling and BIM software such as Revit or Tekla is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent accuracy in drawings and documentation.
• Good understanding of structural components, construction methods, materials, and detailing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project teams.
• Well-organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple drawing tasks and revisions efficiently.
