Role Description
This Structural Draftsman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah. The Structural Draftsman will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed shop drawings, technical drawings, and architectural plans to support project teams. The role involves close collaboration with engineers and architects to deliver precision drafts for structural and architectural components, as well as developing and maintaining Building Information Modeling (BIM) models. Additional responsibilities may include reviewing project specifications, ensuring designs comply with industry standards, and assisting in executing structural engineering tasks.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in creating Shop Drawings- excavation, foundation General arrangements and reinforcement, slabs and beams GA and reinforcement details and Technical Drawings
- Experience with Architectural Drawings and Structural Engineering principles
- Knowledge and expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and quality drafts
- Familiarity with CAD software and drafting tools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience in a similar role, especially within the construction or infrastructure sectors, is an advantage
