Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing, analyzing, and ensuring the structural integrity of buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with practical problem-solving skills to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects according to relevant codes and standards.
- Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports for approval and construction.
- Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress, verify compliance with design specifications, and resolve structural issues.
- Review and approve contractor submissions, shop drawings, and materials for structural compliance.
- Conduct structural inspections, assessments, and feasibility studies for existing structures.
- Ensure all structural designs meet safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, standards, and emerging technologies in structural engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in structural design and engineering.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, SAFE).
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
