Overview

We are seeking an experienced Faade Structural Engineer with strong technical expertise in aluminium faade systems. The role involves structural design review, technical assessments, and close collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

This postion will be based in Dubai,United Arab Emirates.

Responsibilities

  • Faade structural engineer with good working knowledge in aluminum curtain walls, unitized systems, window / doors systems, pergola, canopy, sliding system, balustrade/handrails skylights etc
  • Need to have good knowledge of relevant industry standards, local and international standards
  • Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors
  • Provide structural engineering expertise for faade systems, including aluminium curtain walls, unitized systems, windows and doors, pergolas, canopies, sliding systems, balustrades/handrails, skylights, and related components
  • Review of structural calculations submitted by the client
  • Participate in the design review process to ensure that the process is completed to meet project requirements
  • Understand the project requirements and develop review reports and provide recommendations
  • Participates in the meetings with the clients to review project requirements
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate like drawing reviews, review of relevant test reports, method statements etc

Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the faade and aluminium industry
  • Strong knowledge of faade-related local and international standards
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors
  • Proficient in structural and design software such as staad, AutoCAD, anchor design, ideastatica and other similar software
  • Experience with thermal simulation software such as THERM, Flixo, or equivalent tools
