Estidama Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in structural design, extensive UAE experience, and a thorough understanding of UAE authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
- Prepare structural calculations, detailed drawings, specifications, and design reports.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and provide technical support during the tendering process.
- Review and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings to ensure proper design integration and compliance.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions.
- Ensure all structural designs comply with UAE building codes and local authority regulations.
- Prepare submission drawings and support the authority approval process.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required, and provide technical support during construction.
- Resolve technical issues during the design and construction phases.
- Deliver assigned projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
- Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and submission procedures.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and other relevant applications.
- Experience in the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Experience in BOQ preparation, tender documentation, and construction support is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
- Prior UAE experience is highly preferred.
- Must hold a valid ADM Engineering Card.
