Structural Engineer

Henan DR Construction Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structural engineering for EPC and civil construction projects within the UAE and possess a valid Abu Dhabi Registered Engineer License. The candidate will be responsible for structural design review, site coordination, technical support, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and verify structural drawings, calculations, and design documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams on structural engineering matters.
• Supervise and monitor structural construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure all structural works comply with Abu Dhabi regulations, international standards, and project requirements.
• Provide technical support during planning, execution, and project completion stages.
• Review material submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and technical documentation.
• Conduct structural inspections and resolve technical issues encountered on site.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, MEP, and architectural engineers.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure adherence to HSE policies and quality standards throughout project execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Valid Abu Dhabi Registered Engineer License as a structural Engineer (Mandatory).
• Proven experience in EPC and civil construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, structural design standards, and engineering practices.
• Experience reviewing structural calculations, shop drawings, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in structural engineering software and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project activities.
