Job Description
We are expanding our team for an exciting large-scale Mixed‑Use Development project on the North Coast of Egypt and are looking to engage highly skilled professionals for the position of Structural Engineer.
Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering – Mandatory
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering – Preferred
- 10-12 years overall experience in construction
- Strong structural design and engineering management experience may substitute for postgraduate studies
- Professional Engineering Certification would be considered a plus
- PMP Certification would be considered a plus
- Practical experience using Structural Design Software such as SAP2000 is required
- Preferably worked with reputable PMC/Consultants
- Strong experience in structural design, engineering review, technical approvals and multidisciplinary coordination
- Experience leading structural engineering activities and reviewing contractor and consultant deliverables
- Strong background in:
- Structural Analysis
- Structural Design
- Engineering Management
- Design Review & Approvals
- Infrastructure Structures
- Design Risk Management
- Technical Coordination
- Construction Support
- Must have client-facing experience
- Experience within large-scale Infrastructure, Transportation, Bridges, Utilities, Heavy Civil Works, Marine Infrastructure or Mega Development Projects
- Strong coordination experience with Civil, Geotechnical, MEP, Construction and Planning teams
- Ability to represent the client in technical discussions and engineering review workshops
