Structural Engineer

Role Overview

Structural Design Engineer will assist in the

analysis, design, and detailing of reinforced concrete

structures in accordance with the Egyptian Code (ECP).

The role involves preparing structural calculations, design

models, and construction drawings under the guidance of

senior structural engineers.

Technical Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of reinforced

concrete elements including columns, beams, slabs, shear

walls, and foundations.

• Use SP Column for column design and verification.

• Prepare manual and software-based structural

calculations in compliance with ECP.

• Develop and modify structural drawings using AutoCAD,

including plans, sections, and details.

• Prepare calculation notes, design sheets, and technical

documentation using MS Excel and Word.

• Review design outputs for constructability, accuracy, and

code compliance.

• Coordinate structural inputs with architectural and MEP

requirements.

Mandatory Technical Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Structural

Engineering).

• Cumulative GPA: Good or above.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Working knowledge of SP Column.

• Solid understanding of the Egyptian Code for Design and

Construction of Reinforced Concrete Structures (ECP).

• Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel for

calculations and Word for reports.

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Knowledge of BIM tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and

Dynamo.

• Experience or academic exposure to STAAD Pro.

• Familiarity with Tekla Structures.
