We are looking for a driven Structural Engineer-Steel/Concrete (Site) to join our team.
Qualifications
Minimum 10-15 years experience in engineering consultancy firms.
Minimum relevant experience in steel/concrete structure design and analysis.
A qualified graduate engineer in Civil/Structural Engineering.
Master's Degree/Chartered Engineering will be an added advantage.

Company Role
- Work independently and collaboratively to carry out assigned site supervision activities
- Review structural shop drawings, calculations, method statements, and RFIs
- Monitor site activities including reinforcement, formwork, concrete works, and structural steel to ensure compliance with approved designs
- Identify and resolve design issues, providing practical engineering solutions
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications, international codes, and authority standards
- Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams on daily activities and approvals
- Review inspection reports, authority inspections, and contractor variation orders
- Ensure construction aligns with design intent and regulatory requirements
- Support and supervise junior engineers and technicians when required
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates
- Assist in proposal preparation and project delivery within agreed budgets
- Utilize structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD Pro, SAFE, and PROKON

- Attend team meetings and play an active role in the development of procedures within your team.
- Review and comment on company procedures using the feedback system.

Engineering Function
- Agree design philosophy/design fundamentals.
- Review and comment on deliverables produced by Engineers & Technicians at key stages through a project.
- Demonstrates all round technical competence.
- Have knowledge of concept design, buildability, detailed design, construction techniques, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
- Have knowledge of analytical concepts.
- Should be responsible for Quality Management (QA) for their team.
- Have knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards and 3D working.
QHSE Responsibilities
- Understand, implement and follow 9E QHSE policies.
- Implement and coordinate QHSE procedures in your workplace.
- Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to QHSE.
- Report any QHSE incidents immediately to 9E QHSE Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
- Abide Client/Contractor QHSE requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
