Structured Cabling Technician

We are seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician to install, terminate, test, label, and maintain structured-cabling infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cat6 and Cat6A cabling, patch panels, data outlets, and Fluke testing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and route Cat6 and Cat6A network cables.
• Terminate cables on patch panels, data outlets, and network components.
• Perform cable patching and organize racks and cabinets.
• Conduct Fluke testing and certification of installed cabling.
• Diagnose and resolve cabling and connectivity faults.
• Label cables, outlets, patch panels, and distribution points accurately.
• Read and follow network diagrams, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Support the installation of network devices and related infrastructure.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Maintain testing records, site documentation, and service reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in networking, telecommunications, information technology, or a related field.
• Practical experience in structured-cabling installation and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with Cat6, Cat6A, termination, patching, and labeling.
• Experience using Fluke testing and cable-certification equipment.
• Ability to interpret cabling layouts and technical diagrams.
• Fiber-optic experience is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Candidates who are available to join immediately are preferred.
