Supervisor, Cathodic Protection (MERAM/LNG - Inspection Team - Pipeline

Supervise and perform the cathodic protection monitoring, upgrading and inspection activities to ensure continuous functioning of all equipment.

u00E2u0080u00A2 Review daily work orders, prioritize based on production needs and assign tasks accordingly to ensure timely provision of services to all units. u00E2u0080u00A2 Review new CP projects, documents / drawings and provide feedback / recommendations to facilitate accurate capturing of operational requirements. u00E2u0080u00A2 Supervise and perform cathodic protection inspection and troubleshooting to ensure accurate functioning as per standards operating standards and procedures.u00E2u0080u00A2 Supervise the installation and commissioning of CP systems provided by contractors, to conform to company standards and specifications.u00E2u0080u00A2 Monitor and interpret IR (Current/Resistance) drop and on-off potential of the Cathodic Protection system, carry out piping survey using close interval potential measurement in order to promptly alert superior of any non-conformances for immediate corrective action.u00E2u0080u00A2 Monitor the pipe-to-soil potential as per the predetermined schedule of all CP systems and determine optimal power requirement for Cathodic Protection purposes.u00E2u0080u00A2 Monitor and review the coating and wrapping deterioration trends, to ensure optimum efficiency of cathodic protection operations and thereby minimize piping corrosion.u00E2u0080u00A2 Produce computerized trends of the potential / current drainage and monitor the performance to support continuous operations.

u00E2u0080u00A2 5 years of experience in carrying out cathodic protection monitoring, upgrading and inspection activities within the Oil and Gas industry
