Job Purpose
To lead and manage the customer-facing Lease & Rental (L&R) operations team, ensuring high-quality customer interactions, efficient fleet utilization, adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and smooth lifecycle management of all L&R vehicles. The role ensures daily operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strong coordination with internal departments including New Car Sales, Brand's Administration, Logistics, Service, Body Shop, Used Cars, Parts, and Finance.
Accountabilities
Team Leadership & Customer Experience
- Lead, coach, and develop the L&R frontline team to deliver exceptional service and meet performance targets.
- Manage customer interactions, escalations, and complaint resolution, ensuring fast turnaround and high customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to internal and cross-departmental SLAs.
Fleet Management
- Oversee the full lifecycle of the L&R fleetfrom delivery, in-service period, replacement, return to stock, and transfer to Used Cars.
- Monitor fleet utilization, ensuring availability ratios and proactive movement of vehicles.
- Recommend fleet replacements based on mileage, condition, TCO and business needs.
- Ensure 100% compliance with manufacturer maintenance schedules.
- Monitor damages, insurance claims, repairs, and cost recovery (customer/warranty/insurance).
Operational Control & Interdepartmental Coordination
- Coordinate with NC, UC, Admin, Service Advisors, Body Shop, Logistics, and Finance teams for timely vehicle processing.
- Manage customer returns, ensuring proper documentation, damage reporting, and SLA adherence.
- Ensure accurate and timely issuance of invoices (rental, lease packages, Salik, fines, damage charges, and insurance recoveries).
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are fulfilled, including registration renewals and documentation accuracy.
- Provide operational support to Mobility projects and broader L&R requirements.
- Control customer charges by screening estimates and negotiating with respective teams on fair, agreed billing.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering fleet status, utilization, service adherence, customer metrics, and operational KPIs.
- Monitor and control operational costs, including repair costs allocated to ANA.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience, reduce downtime, and increase operational efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing training and upskilling for the team, including product knowledge, systems proficiency, and communication skills.

- UAE/Middle East Automobile experience
