Overview / Job Purpose

The Supplier Performance & Compliance Specialist will provide independent oversight of IT supplier performance, contractual compliance, and vendor governance.

The role is responsible for monitoring supplier obligations, SLAs, KPIs, deliverables, risks, and compliance requirements to ensure transparency, accountability, and value delivery. It will also support alignment with Qatar Government procurement, governance, and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor IT suppliers compliance with contractual terms, SLAs, KPIs, governance requirements, and organizational policies.
• Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews, compliance assessments, and vendor risk evaluations.
• Validate and maintain records of supplier deliverables, contractual milestones, supporting documentation, and payment claims.
• Maintain supplier governance dashboards, performance registers, compliance records, and risk/action trackers.
• Lead and facilitate supplier performance review meetings, documenting findings, risks, agreed actions, responsibilities, and timelines.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate, traceable, and verified supplier performance and compliance evidence.
• Identify contractual deviations, performance issues, control gaps, and compliance risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier governance frameworks, performance measurement, controls, and reporting.
• Establish and govern best practices for recording, tracking, and securely maintaining contract deliverables and supplier performance documentation.
• Work closely with IT, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Audit, and other stakeholders to strengthen supplier accountability and contract assurance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Years of experience: Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in supplier/vendor governance, IT contract management, supplier performance management, audit, risk, or compliance.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.
• Industry exposure: Strong experience within utilities, energy, government, or other regulated sectors in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of vendor governance, contract compliance, audit practices, risk management, and performance assurance.
• Good understanding of IT outsourcing, SLA/KPI management, IT contracts, supplier deliverables, and service performance monitoring.
• Familiarity with Qatar Government procurement, governance, and audit frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/e-Procurement systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent, together with strong reporting and analytical skills.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CIPS, ITIL, CIA, or other relevant governance, procurement, or audit certifications are preferred.

Candidates with relevant supplier performance and vendor governance experience in Qatar will be given priority. However, we also welcome applications from qualified candidates outside Qatar with strong experience in IT vendor management, contract compliance, SLA/KPI management, and supplier performance governance.
