External Job Description
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all inspections and repairs.
- Ensure that engineering and manufacturing specifications are reviewed to ensure compliance at all times and complete the job successfully.
- Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts.
- Supervise the quality of repaired items during the warranty period.
- Work with the supplier directly to address spare parts failure.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to management and analyze data as required.
- Supervise the supply of spare parts for the repair process.
- Provide technical advice to other departments in matters related to materials engineering and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Analyzing test results and conducting training for relevant personnel as required.
- Maintain records of test results and all actions taken.
- Facilitate corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering.
- A minimum of three years of similar experience or with knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices is required.
- Experience in project management is an advantage.
- Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and computer-aided design (CAD) or AutoCAD preferred.
- Have, or are able to obtain a valid driving license in the UAE.
