We are seeking a detail-oriented Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in Gulf. The Supplier Quality Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our suppliers meet the quality standards necessary for our products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance metrics and develop improvement plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues related to supplier materials and processes.
- Develop and maintain supplier quality documentation, including specifications and quality control plans.
- Provide training and support to suppliers on quality requirements and best practices.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new suppliers based on quality criteria.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in statistical process control (SPC) and quality tools such as Six Sigma or Lean.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
