Join our Supplier Quality team as a Supplier Quality Engineer and help drive supplier excellence, quality performance, and continuous improvement across our supply chain. You'll play a key role in ensuring incoming material quality, resolving supplier quality issues, developing supplier capabilities, and driving defect reduction.

This is a 1-year project-based opportunity.

What will you do

  • Manage day-to-day supplier quality operations to ensure consistent incoming material quality
  • Lead supplier issue resolution activities, including containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures
  • Monitor supplier performance through quality metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality and reduce defects
  • Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements for incoming materials and components
  • Support supplier qualification, auditing, development, and performance improvement programs
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to address supplier-related quality concerns
  • Drive defect reduction and improve supplier capability to support operational and customer satisfaction objectives

What qualifications will make you successful

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, Quality Assurance, or a related function
  • Experience in supplier quality management and supplier development activities
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and managing supplier corrective actions
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as sheet metal fabrication, machining, coating, assembly, or related industrial processes
  • Experience analyzing supplier performance through KPIs such as PPM, NCR, COPQ, and On-Time Corrective Actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good command of English
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage
  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and work within tight deadlines
