Develop and execute a comprehensive supplier relationship management strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives and procurement goals.
Identify key strategic suppliers and establish strategic partnerships based on mutual goals, shared values, and long-term value creation opportunities.
Lead the negotiation and implementation of supplier agreements, contracts, and service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring alignment with business requirements and risk management policies.
Collaborate with other functions teams, including procurement, supply chain, finance, and business units, to define supplier performance metrics, KPIs, and governance mechanisms.
Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of strategic suppliers, evaluating their performance against established criteria, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement in supplier relationships, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic suppliers, addressing issues, resolving conflicts, and fostering open and transparent communication channels.
Lead supplier development and capability-building initiatives, working closely with suppliers to enhance their capabilities, processes, and performance.
Establish and maintain a supplier performance management dashboard or scorecard to track supplier performance, identify trends, and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, or related field. (Essential)
Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) preferred
3+ years of experience in procurement, supplier management, or supply chain management roles, with a focus on strategic supplier relationship management.
