About Ecomvest
Pioneers in the e-commerce investment landscape, Ecomvest makes e-commerce accessible for every investor. We strategically acquire up-and-coming e-Commerce businesses, tapping into their hidden value. With our internal team & experience we grow these hidden gems into successful online businesses. We then seek investors or entrepreneurs who are looking to dive into E-commerce and acquire one of our stores. Which we then, together with them, continue to grow to new levels! Our approach ensures great returns for our acquisition partners.
Our company has been growing rapidly and we are looking to expand our team to keep the momentum going and reach our ambitious goals. Join us in fueling the next wave of e-Commerce success stories.
The Role
We are at a point in our growth where operational reliability across our portfolio is non-negotiable. Our model works, our brand count is growing, and the ambition is clear: more acquisitions, more brands, higher margins, and a customer experience that never slips. To get there, we need someone who can own the supply chain across our entire portfolio end to end, no exceptions.
We are looking for a highly driven Supply Chain Lead to take full ownership of supplier relationships, logistics performance, shipping costs, and operational reliability across every brand in the Ecomvest portfolio.
This is not a coordination role. We are looking for someone who operates at the core of the business: building supplier partnerships, negotiating terms, resolving disruptions before they become problems, and continuously improving the systems and processes that keep our brands running smoothly. You will be responsible for ensuring every brand delivers a consistent, on-time customer experience while protecting margins.
The ideal candidate is operationally sharp, commercially minded, and systematic by nature. Someone who builds reliable processes, holds suppliers accountable, and thinks not just about solving today's problem but about making the supply chain more resilient over time.
Responsibilities
Supplier Relationships
- Own relationships with all suppliers across the portfolio
- Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier communications and negotiations
- Build long-term, reliable partnerships with key suppliers and identify backup suppliers for every brand
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to protect brand margins
- Onboard new suppliers as part of the brand acquisition process
Logistics Performance & Shipping Costs
- Monitor logistics performance across all brands — delivery times, carrier reliability, and cost per shipment
- Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs without compromising delivery quality
- Evaluate and onboard logistics partners where needed
- Track shipping cost trends per brand and report impact on margins
Packaging Suppliers
- Manage relationships with packaging suppliers across the portfolio
- Ensure packaging quality meets brand standards and is cost-efficient
- Source new packaging solutions where required
Delivery Times
- Set and monitor delivery time expectations per brand and supplier
- Ensure delivery times displayed on stores match actual supplier lead times
- Flag discrepancies to portfolio managers before they impact customer experience or GMC compliance
Operational Reliability
- Build redundancy into the supply chain — every brand has a backup supplier and logistics option
- Monitor supplier reliability scores and hold suppliers accountable to agreed SLAs
- Proactively identify supply chain risks and resolve them before they impact customers
Supplier Follow-Ups
- Ensure all outstanding supplier actions are followed up consistently and on time
- Maintain a clear log of open supplier issues and their resolution status in Monday.com
- Chase suppliers on delayed shipments, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies
Tracking Issues
- Own the tracking issue resolution process across all brands
- Investigate and resolve lost, delayed, or incorrectly tracked shipments
- Liaise between suppliers, carriers, and customer service to ensure fast resolution
Invoices
- Review and approve supplier invoices across the portfolio
- Identify billing errors or discrepancies and resolve with suppliers promptly
- Ensure invoices are processed accurately and on time in coordination with finance
Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate shipments across all brands ensuring orders are dispatched on time and tracked correctly
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders and carriers where relevant
- Oversee bulk shipment planning where applicable
Team Management
- Lead, coach, and develop the supply chain team as it grows
- Set clear targets and expectations for Supply Chain Specialists
- Conduct regular 1-1s and performance reviews
- Build team processes and ensure consistent supply chain standards across all brands
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in supply chain management, sourcing, or logistics — ideally across multiple brands or product categories
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable supplier terms
- Operationally disciplined — systematic in follow-ups, tracking, and issue resolution
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track logistics costs and act on trends
- A calm, effective problem solver when supply chain disruptions arise
- Familiarity with eCommerce and how supply chain performance directly impacts customer experience and margins
- Experience with project management or supplier tracking tools (Monday.com is a plus)
What Success Looks Like
- Every brand in the portfolio has a reliable primary supplier and a tested backup
- Shipping costs are tracked, optimised, and improving over time
- Supplier SLAs are met consistently, and issues are resolved before customers feel them
- Delivery times on store match reality — always
- The supply chain team is well-managed, clear on their targets, and performing
- Finance has clean, accurate invoices processed on time
This Role Is Probably Not For You If
- You need someone to tell you which supplier to chase
- You treat follow-ups as optional when things get busy
- You react to supply chain problems rather than anticipating them
- You think in tasks rather than outcomes
- You have never managed supplier or logistics relationships independently
What We Offer
- Full ownership of supply chain operations across a growing portfolio of eCommerce brands
- Exposure to a unique business model blending eCommerce, M&A, and brand operations
- A close-knit, ambitious, and high-performance team based in Dubai
